Popular rapper Macklemore and Ryan Lewis will make a stop in Syracuse this fall, SU's University Union announced Monday. The duo's 2013 U.S. Tour will bring them to the Carrier Dome Monday, November 11th.
This year, the duo scored two #1 Hits on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, with "Thrift Shop" and "Can't Hold Us."
Tickets for the Monday night concert go on sale Tuesday, for 48 hours.
The rest of the tickets go on sale later this week.
Student prices are $15; tickets are $40 for the general public.
The concert is set for 6:30 p.m. Monday, November 11th.
Emcees Talib Kweli and BIG K.R.I.T are listed as opening acts.
On Saturday, November 9 Macklemore and Ryan Lewis will be at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo. After the Syracuse show, they are scheduled to perform two nights at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Macklemore, who's real name is Ben Haggerty, collaborates with producer Ryan Lewis. The duo has garnered a significant online fan base, without the support of a major record label.
