Man airlifted to University Hospital after Marcellus crash

DWI and Unlicensed Operator, among the charges against a Syracuse man after an early morning crash in Marcellus

A Syracuse man is being charged with DWI and more, after his car slammed into a utility pole in Marcellus early Saturday morning.

Onondaga County Sheriff's deputies say 24 year old Ikeem Davis, from 2307 South State Street in Syracuse, was speeding along Main Street in Marcellus, and just before 2am he missed a curve and hit the pole.

He has non-life threatening injuries, but was airlifted to University Hospital for treatment.

Investigation into the crash continues. Davis is already charged with DWI, along with Unlicensed Operator and Imprudent Speed.
