      Man arrested after stabbing in Syracuse



      Syracuse Police arrest a Syracuse man after a stabbing on the 1300 block of Butternut Street.



      It happened around 2:10 pm Friday.



      When police arrived, they found a 29-year-old man who had been stabbed. He was brought to the hospital in critical condition.



      After an investigation, police arrested 45-year-old Brian Slaughter of 1313 Butternut Street.



      He was charged with felony assault and criminal possession of a weapon and was sent to jail.



      Police say Slaughter and the victim were having an argument when the stabbing happened.
