A Syracuse man has been arrested for allegedly driving drunk three different times in less than a week.
Solvay Police say 38-year-old Robert M. Pangaro of Willis Avenue was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol just before midnight on January 7. Pangaro was processed by Solvay Police and taken home. Shortly after he was dropped off at his residence, Pangaro left his home to retrieve his towed vehicle.
Pangaro was driving home around 2:30 a.m. on January 8 - just shy of three hours after he had been arrested the first time - when he was pulled over again by Solvay Police. He was charged a second time with driving under the influence.
Four days later, Pangaro was stopped once again just after midnight on Wednesday, January 13. He was arrested for his third driving under the influence charge by the Solvay Police Department.
Pangaro was arraigned in Solvay Village Court and is being held at the Onondaga County Justice Center on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to return to court on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
