32-year-old Shane C. Nolan was arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and disposing of methamphetamine laboratory material, according to the City of Oswego Police.
On Wednesday, members of the departmentâ??s Anti-Crime Team (ACT) say they got information that Nolan, who was wanted on three separate warrants, was possibly making methamphetamine in the City of Oswego.
ACT, along with criminal investigation and patrol division members, found Nolan at 120 Liberty Street. Investigators determined that the structure at 120 Liberty Street likely contained a methamphetamine laboratory. The structure was evacuated and then secured.
Liberty Street, between West Oneida Street and Turrill Street, were closed off.
A search warrant for the property was granted. When the structure was searched, police say evidence of an inactive meth lab was collected, along with a small amount of finished methamphetamine.
Nolan is currently in the Oswego City Police Department pending arraignment in Oswego City Court.
The investigation is ongoing.
