Syracuse police have identified the man found dead in front of a church on Saturday.
While police were searching for a robbery suspect, they found the body of a man in front of St. James Church. The man has been identified as 55-year-old Charles Williams of Syracuse.
Police say Williams may have died several days before his body was discovered. Syracuse received nearly five feet of snow last week.
An autopsy was performed and police say the death was not the result of criminal activity. In the meantime, police continue to investigate the robbery that happened at ACMG Federal Credit Union.
No arrests have been made. Anyone with information should call Syracuse Police at 442-5222.
