Syracuse police are investigating a crash that left a man on a bicycle with a broken leg.
The crash, between an SUV and bicycle, happened Thursday at the intersection of South Salina St. at Ballantyne Rd. shortly after 3 pm.
The initial investigation says that the driver of the SUV was driving westbound on Walrath Rd. and was crossing S. Salina St. to continue westbound on Ballantyne Rd. That's when he struck the bicyclist, who was headed east on Ballantyne Rd. before attempting to turn left and head northbound on S. Salina St.
The bicyclist was transported to Upstate Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No tickets have been issued at this time.
