Man reportedly shows gun during dispute in Fayetteville

Fri, 14 Jun 2013 12:56:26 GMT — Manlius Police say a man reportedly displayed a gun during a dispute at 125 Mill Street in the Village of Fayetteville.Police received a menacing complaint around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday.Police say everyone involved knew each other. The suspect was allegedly in a dispute with the residents of Mill Street home when he displayed a handgun. Police say no shots were fired and no one was injured.The suspect was later identified as Javier Loaiza, 39, of Poughkeepsie.He was charged with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon. Loaiza was arraigned and is being held at the Onondaga County Justice Center on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.Police say they also arrested Nicole L. Cummings, 29, of Liverpool who is an acquaintance of Loaiza. She was charged with making a false written statement and is being held on a New York State Parole violation.
