Man stabbed on James Street Saturday afternoon
A man was stabbed in the 400 block of James Street at 1:13 p.m. Saturday, according to Syracuse Police.
A 29-year-old male was stabbed in the lower back, and transported to Upstate University Hospital for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, police said.
According to police, witnesses reported seeing a fight in a parking lot involving several people, prior to the stbbing.
The suspect, described as a black male wearing a multi-colored jacket, was last seen on foot heading eastward on James Street, police said.
