Madison County Sheriff's deputies are searching for several men caught on camera stealing meat from local grocery stores.

The men walked into area Tops Supermarkets and went to the meat section. That's where deputies say they started taking several packages of meat and left the store.

One man was seen putting the meat under his jacket in one instance and under his sweatshirt another time without paying.

This happened at the Tops on Route 5 in Canastota on March 10 and 25 and at the Tops on Route 5 in Sherrill on March 24 and 25. Each time, several hundred dollars worth of meat was stolen from the store.

Deputies believe the man involved in the March 25 thefts at both stores is the same person.
