Meth lab busted in Homer

Cortland County Investigators on Monday morning arrested Michael L. Martin Sr., 43, of 3037 East River Road in the Town of Homer for an active meth lab.
Officers were called to the home after a caller, from the same residence, found what appeared to be a suspicious container in the attached garage of the residence. Officers say they found several items used to manufacture methamphetamine, including 13 gas generators and 4 one-pot meth labs.
Martin was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Second Degree, Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine and more. He was arraigned in the Town of Homer Court and was remanded to Cortland County Jail with no bail. He is due to reappear in the Town of Homer Court on May 20, 2014 at 4:00 PM.
