Michael Carter-Williams makes a big splash in NBA debut

He was the star of Syracuseâ??s run to the Final Four last spring, now Michael Carter-Williams has made his official NBA debut.

What a night against the defending champions and Lebron James. The rookie scored twenty-two points and had twelve assists in leading his new team the Philadelphia 76erâ??s to an upset victory.

He also managed 9 rebounds, 12 assists and 9 steals during the game.

Carter-Williams was the 11th pick in last Juneâ??s NBA draft. He was the point guard on last yearâ??s Jim Boeheim coached Syracuse Orange that went all the way to the Final Four in Atlanta.

The Philadelphia '76er's beat the Miami Heat 114 to 110.
