A man accused of stabbing and killing his wife has been convicted of 2nd degree Murder and Aggravated Criminal Contempt.
Michael Neely appeared in Onondaga County Court today, and a jury of his peers says he is guilty of stabbing his estranged wife, Linda Neely in her Town of Onondaga home back in October of 2006.
Neely already had a first trial, but it ended in a mistrial because the jury could not reach a unanimous decision. After the first trial, Neely had fired his lawyers and chose to represent himself. This time, it only took the jury one hour to convict him.
Neely TMs sentencing is scheduled to happen on February 29th.
