Miles of searching turns up no sign of missing Clay man

Sheriffâ??s deputies are continuing their search for a 71-year-old Town of Clay man who has been missing for days.

Edward P. Weslowski, of Allen Road, vanished sometime Thursday night into Friday morning, deputies say.

Weslowski suffers from dementia, anxiety and insomnia, has not been heard from in days. Deputies say Weslowski may have been seen on Friday morning, walking east on Bear Road near Route 11.

He is described as being 5â?? 10â?? tall, weighing 165 pounds with grayish, brown hair. Deputies say Weslowski was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt.

Sheriffâ??s Deputies, along with members of the Wilderness Search & Rescue Team, New York Forest Rangers and several K-9 units spent the weekend searching the areas near Weslowskiâ??s home, covering several miles in all directions.

The search included several drainage areas, wooded areas, sheds, barns and vacant structures.

Neighbors can expect to get an emergency notification system call to ask them to look in their yards, storage sheds, garages and covered boats for signs of Weslowski.
