A crash on I-81 south near the Franklin Street exit slowed traffic during morning rush hour Tuesday.
Syracuse Police were called to the scene at about 8:30 am, where a motorcycle rear-ended a car.
Police say the driver of the motorcycle was taken to University Hospital as a precaution. The driver of the car was also taken to University Hospital for a minor arm injury.
The motorcyclist was ticketed with following too closely and no proof of insurance.
The left and middle lanes of I-81 south were closed for about 30 minutes after the crash.
