Motorcycle driver hurt after crash on 690 in Syracuse

A motorcycle driver is seriously hurt after a crash.

Syracuse police say around 11:55pm Thursday, a 38-year-old man was thrown from his 2001 Suzuki after he lost control and hit a guard rail on 690 west in Syracuse.

The man was taken to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. Police say the injures are serious but do not appear to be life threatening.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation and no tickets have been released at this time.
