Music fans encounter more issues with State Fair Grandstand tickets Saturday morning

Music fans lined up at the New York State Fair Box Office for tickets to the Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival on Saturday, but encountered similar issues to those who tried to get tickets to Jason Aldean and Keith Urban tickets about a month ago.
Much like the first issues, music fans were outraged, saying slow computers caused them to miss out on the better seats because the tickets were also available online. Representatives from new ticket company Etix were at the box office Saturday morning, but refused to comment.
On Saturday morning, Ben Dorion was the first in line for tickets and didn't expect to walk away empty handed. "Well, I mean, I figure if you wait 12 hours and you're first in line, you should probably get front row seats," said Dorion. "But, judging by some of the things the management has said here, we'll see if that actually happens."
To avoid the problems encountered by online ticket buyers for the Jason Aldean and Keith Urban shows, State Fair Director Dan O'Hara said they added more bandwidth to the ticketing website. He added that, although you will have problems with any ticket sales, Saturday's sale went well.
The concerts, scheduled for the New York State Fair Grandstand, Saturday, August 25th at 2 pm, will feature artists including Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind, Papa Roach and Adelitas Way.
