Naked man breaks into home on Butternut Street
SYRACUSE N.Y. —
Syracuse Police responded to reports of a naked man leaving his house and breaking into another on Butternut Street early Sunday morning.
It was reported that a 29-year-old man left his house around 5:30 a.m. and that he was acting strangely and possibly using some sort of drug, Syracuse Police said.
According to officers they located the man in the 1000 block of Butternut Street and requested an ambulance. Police said it is not known what drug he was using, but the man appeared to be highly incoherent.
The man then ran off and broke through a window of a home on Butternut Street according to officers.
The man was located in the home and transported to the hospital for treatment, police said.
Police say the man faces charges of burglary in the second degree, criminal mischief in the third, and resisting arrest once he is released from the hospital.
