NBC exclusive interview with Ebola survivor Dr. Kent Brantly

In an NBC News exclusive, Matt Lauer will sit down with Dr. Kent Brantly, the American doctor who contracted the Ebola virus while working with relief organization Samaritan's Purse in Liberia.

You can see parts of Brantlyâ??s first-ever interview tonight on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams and tomorrow on NBCâ??s TODAY with Matt Lauer reporting live from Emory.

Lauer will sit down with the doctors who treated Brantly at Emory University Hospital, and he will talk to Brantlyâ??s wife Amber, who also lived with her husband and children in Liberia.

NBC News has exclusive access to the isolation room where Brantly was treated.

The full story will air in an hour-long NBC News Primetime Special Friday, September 5.
