Neighbors raise $181,860 for AIDS Walk/Run

The 22nd Annual AIDS Walk/Run raises $181,860 this year for ACR Health, an organization that provides youth HIV/STD prevention programs and emergency client needs.

About 1,000 people were expected for the AIDS Walk/Run at Beaver Lake Nature Center in Baldwinsville.

It featured a 5k fundraising walk and a 10k timed run, along with food and prizes.

Since it began in 1992, the AIDS Walk/Run has raised over $2 million, and all of the benefits stay in Central New York.
