New Detroit based restaurant to replace PJ's in Armory Square

The popular PJ's Pub and Grill in Armory Square may be closing, but a new Detroit based restaurant will open in it's place, ensuring the space won't go empty.

The new Small Plates in Syracuse will be the section location for the restaurant.

Two Syracuse businessmen, Todd Wenzel and Pat Danial, own the restaurant in Michigan, but they are looking to expand the concept nationally.

They purchased original location in Detroit back in early 2012.

The new location in Syracuse is expected to open in September.
