New Hartford man arrested after road rage incident

      A New Hartford man is accused of threatening a man with a pool cue after he allegedly ran a stop sign.

      The New Hartford Police say they responded to the area of Oakdale Ave and Francis Road regarding to a menacing complaint on Wednesday.

      Police say when they interviewed the person who made the complaint, they determined that two men were involved in a verbal dispute regarding one of the men failing to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Irving Road and Francis Road.

      During the dispute one of the men, 20-year-old Ruvim Mikhalevich of New Hartford, threatened the complainant with a pool cue.

      Mikhalevich was arrested for menacing and criminal possession of a weapon, both misdemeanors.

      He was arraigned in Town of New Hartford Court and released after posting cash bail. Mikhalevich is expected to return to court on a later date.
