New Irish pub in downtown Syracuse to open in time for St. Patrick's Day
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A new Irish pub is opening at the former Hotel Syracuse, just in time for St. Patrick's Day.
Shaughnessy's Pub at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown will open on March 11th for the 35th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade.
The new bar will have seating for 110 people and have a private dining room.
The pub installed the basketball court of the original Syracuse Nationals as its floor.
Right now, the new Irish-themed bar is looking to fill 35 positions.
