New Jersey Mayor: More apologies from Christie may be needed

The mayor of the New Jersey borough whose residents were beset by traffic jams as apparent political payback says he accepts Gov. Chris Christie's apology but also wants to see if more details emerge from investigations.
Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich said Thursday he believed the governor was sincere when he apologized about emails that seem to reveal his aide wanted highway lanes near the foot of the George Washington Bridge closed because the mayor wasn't endorsing Christie.
Christie fired the aide Thursday morning.
Sokolich said he hopes Christie will apologize again if investigations reveal additional findings.
Christie plans to visit Fort Lee. The mayor urged the governor to delay the trip amid inquiries by the legislature and federal prosecutors.
