New York Mills woman accused of stealing money from employer

A New York Mills woman is arrested on one count of Grand Larceny and Falsifying Business Records after allegedly stealing from her employer.

Police say 40-year-old Vicki L. Gilbert of 20 Greenman Ave. stole around $17,000 when she was employed at Light's Auto Parts in both the Rome and Remsen stores between April 2012 and February 2014.

Gilbert was arraigned in the Village of New York Mills Court and released to the custody of Oneida County Probation.

Further court action is pending.
