      North side Syracuse power outage

National Grid estimates a power outage on Syracuse's north side will continue until 10:15 tonight. The outage started at about 8:15 pm when there was a report of an electrical fire on Burnet Street near Sherwood. Utility crews and firefighters have been on the scene.

The area affected by the outage is bounded by Burnet Avenue to the south, Teall Avenue to the east, James Street to the north and Lodi Street to the west. The outage has affected traffic lights in several intersections. Drivers are reminded to treat all intersections with non-working traffic signals as four way stop signs.

The National Grid outage central webpage estimated two hours for the power to be full restored.
