North Syracuse junior varsity tennis teams may be cut

The District says the loss is due to budget cuts.

The District is holding a tennis marathon on Saturday at the CNS courts from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will also be a bake sale Sweet Frog Yogurt has agreed to donate some proceeds from yogurt sales to the JV team.

The District says the goal is to raise $4,500 by Wednesday, August 21 and can the donation be put on the BOE agenda for the Monday, August 26 meeting.

If the goal is reached, the girls JV season will continue. If the goal is not met, there will not be a JV season.
