A Chenango County woman is accused of stealing more than $100,000 from her former employer.
State Police say 53-year-old Donna Huzinec of Norwich filed for - and received - payments totaling $104,390 for services she did not provide while she worked for Springbrook Residential Services.
Her responsibility was to provide respite services to give at-home caregivers short term breaks.
Troopers say she submitted hundreds of fraudulent requests for payment and forged signatures - possibly since 2009.
Huzinec is no longer employed through Springbrook.
She is due in Pharsalia Town Court this Thursday to answer to charges of grand larceny, 20 counts of forgery, and 20 counts of falsifying business records.
