Nottingham seniors promote anti-bullying in local elementary school

Ed Smith students enjoy "The Chocolate War" production.

Two Nottingham High School seniors are doing their part to help tackle the issue of bullying at a local elementary school.

Open Hand Theater and The Bully Proof Campaign came together today to present "The Chocolate War", an anti-bullying play and puppet show at Ed Smith School.

The Bully Proof Campaign is part of a public relations project that the Nottingham students, seniors Claire Breed and Deasia Hawkins, will be entering at the New York State DECA conference in March.

DECA is a national high school and collegiate organization that strives to prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.
