One dead after one vehicle collision in Granby

The driver of a pickup truck is dead after a one vehicle collision in Granby, according to the Oswego County Sheriffâ??s Office.

At about 10:43 PM on Wednesday, deputies responded to a report of a one vehicle collision that came into the Oswego County 911 center.

Police say a 2001 Ford F-150 pickup truck was traveling west on County Route 3, west of the Hanley Road intersection, when it went off the north shoulder of Route 3. As the truck went into a roadside ditch, it hit a utility pole support wire, an embankment and several small trees while overturning.

The deceased was the sole occupant of the truck.

The driver was later identified as 27-year-old Nicholas Kellogg of Kellogg Road in Hannibal.

The Oswego County Sheriffâ??s Office says that the matter remains under investigation. They say speed and alcohol are being investigated as contributing factors.
