Oneida County man charged with DWI on moped
ANNSVILLE, N.Y. —
An Oneida County man faces charges for DWI on a moped, according to New York State Police.
Jonathan L. Kimball, 53, of Camden, was issued tickets for DWI, aggravated DWI with a BAC of .18 percent or greater, aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree and operating an unregistered moped.
A state trooper was dispatched by Oneida County 911 to Lee Center- Taberg Road in the town of Annsvville at 3:10 p.m. Saturday for reports of a man operating a moped in an erratic manner, authorities said. The moped driver was located and stopped in a driveway of a residence. Kimball was identified as the driver and during an interview, was observed to appear highly intoxicated. Sobriety tests indicated Kimball was intoxicated and was taken into custody.
Kimball was processed at the Sylvan Beach State Police barracks, where a breath test determined his blood alcohol content was .25 percent. He is scheduled to appear in Annsville town court on Monday.
