Oneida Indian Nation officials who oppose Redskins' nickname to meet with NFL officials next week

Oneida Indian officials who oppose the Redskins nickname as a slur are set to meet with NFL officials next week in New York City.
NFL officials had previously agreed to a meeting with the upstate New York tribe.
Oneida spokesman Brett Stagnitti tells The Associated Press on Friday that meeting is now scheduled for Wednesday in New York City.
The Oneida Indian Nation and its leader Ray Halbritter became prominent critics of the team's name after funding a radio ad campaign and a symposium on the harmful effects of the nickname in Washington.
It isn't initially known where in the city the meeting will be held or if NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will attend.
There was no immediate comment from the NFL.
