Oneida Nation arson suspect caught on surveillance tape - Can you identify him?

Oneida Nation arson suspect

Oneida Indian Nation police need your help tracking down the person behind a recent arson.

It happened around 2:20 a.m. Tuesday at a vacant house on Patrick Road on Nation land. Several fire companies responded to the scene and put out the fire. No one was hurt.

Nation police say security cameras at a nearby SavOn Convenience Store captured a photo of one of the suspects when he stopped to ask for directions to East Syracuse. A witness told investigators the man said a friend forced his way into the vacant home and set it on fire. Police say the suspect then left the store and got into a white or silver vehicle with three or four other men in it. A camera at Turning Store Resort Casino also captured an image of the same man on an escalator.

Anyone with information should call the Oneida Indian Nation Police Department at (315) 829-8100 or the Oneida County Sheriff's Department at (315) 736-0141. All calls will be kept confidential.
