Oneonta woman arrested for selling wooden shed on Craigslist that belonged to Delaware County

An Oneonta woman is facing a maximum sentence of four years in prison for selling an Amish wooden shed that belonged to the Delaware County Department of Social Services.

39-year-old Shannon Lynne Gano was arrested after an investigation into the sale a shed, valued at $2,100, on Craigslist.

Otsego County Sheriffâ??s Deputies say the shed was being stored at Ganoâ??s home with the understanding that she did not own it.

The Craigslist sale happened in June, according to deputies.

Gano was arraigned and is being held in the Otsego County Correctional Facility, pending a future court date.
