Onondaga Central softball team pitches in for woman recovering from heart transplant

Onondaga Central softball pitched in to help Marcellus' Katie Flynn as she recovers from a heart transplant. Before receiving her new heart, Katie played an active roll in the University United Methodist Church food pantry.

To help out in her absence, the onondaga Central girls softball team held a food drive tonight to try and fill Katie's shoes as she recovers.

A benefit for Katie is planned for June 1 at the Camillus Elk Club. More details about the event can be found on the Reciprokate facebook page:
