Onondaga Co. investigators turn to social media: Can you help solve cold cases?

Onondaga County Sheriff's deputies are turning to the internet and social media to try to solve cold cases.

The department has added a feature to the Sheriff's Office website and Facebook page.

It takes just a few seconds, a click of your keyboard and you can review a brief description of unsolved crimes being investigated by Onondaga County Sheriff's deputies.

The first case being highlighted is the unsolved murder of Mark Clark.

The former owner of Toy Galaxy in North Syracuse was shot and killed on April 21, 2008. He was found dead in his Liverpool home at 109 Cleveland Street just after 12 p.m.

Authorities from the Sheriff's Criminal Investigation Division and Liverpool Police Department are asking for your help to help crack this cold case.
