Onondaga County offers to pave downtown Syracuse streets plagued by potholes

As the City of Syracuse deals with an aging infrastructure problem, Onondaga County is offering to pave downtown streets that are plagued by potholes.

County Executive Joanie Mahoney's offer comes in a letter to Syracuse Mayor Stephanie Miner.

The plan offers the county's personnel and equipment to pave several deteriorating streets.

Here is a list of the streets:

North and South Clinton Streets North and South Salina Streets North and South Warren Streets South State Street Erie Boulevard East East and West Fayette Streets Harrison Street East and West Adams Streets West Onondaga Street

Mahoney says she is confident the county will be able to handle the added work without asking for additional money from county taxpayers.
