There are a number of travel restrictions in Central New York today.
The right lane of the Onondaga Lake parkway going into Liverpool will be closed Thursday from the ramp at Park Street to the railroad overpass bridge. The delay will go from 9:00am until 3:00pm.
There have been a number of accidents on the parkway, including the infamous Megabus crash that slammed into the low railroad bridge, killing four people. The state Department of Transportation says they will be out Thursday making parkway safety improvements. The impovements were delayed from Wednesday to Thursday due to weather concerns. In Syracuse, bridge repair on interstate 81 South will close off-ramps at Hiawatha Boulevard, Carousel Center, and Bear Street. Those ramps will be closed from 9:00am until 1:00pm.
On I-81 North, expect alternating lane closures between Spencer Street and Bear Street for much of the day. On 690 East, the left and center lanes will be closed from Teall Avenue to Crouse Avenue starting at 9:00am.
