Oswego city police say tenants at an apartment building on East 6th Street were forced to evacuate after their building partially collapsed this morning.
City police say an overhang on the roof crumbled and collapsed. The roof is still intact and police say no one was hurt.
There are six apartments in the building, and city police say all tennants were allowed to go back inside.
Code Enforcement Director Neal Smith accessed the damage this morning. No word on any code violations.
This comes just two weeks after St. Louis church collapsed during the close of Harborfest in Oswego.
It's prompted officials to look at other old building in the city in need of repair. Wednesday, Smith officially condemed a single family dwelling on West 5th Street.
