Oswego County teens accused of stealing an RV and driving it into a pond

Two Oswego County teens are accused of stealing an RV and driving it into pond.

Police say a 16-year-old male from Lansing and a 15-year-old male from Fulton are accused of breaking into a business in the Town of Mexico in late November, 2012.

The teens are accused of stealing an RV, a generator, and causing damage to the property.

Police say the RV was found partially submerged in a pond in the City of Fulton, with what was reported to be a broom stick depressing the gas pedal and the ignition in the on position.

Both teens were charged with juvenile delinquency for acts, which if committed by an adult, would have constituted the crimes of burglary, grand larceny, criminal mischief, and petit larceny.

The teens were both 15 at the time and were issued Juvenile Appearance tickets on Saturday, May 4. They were referred to the Oswego County Probation Department for further processing.
