Oswego man accused of stealing Rx drugs while homeowners slept

An Oswego man is accused of breaking into a Granby home and stealing prescription medication while the homeowners were sleeping.

29-year-old Patrick Topley, of 145 East 9th St., was arrested around 5 a.m. Wednesday.

Oswego County Sheriff's deputies say he entered a home in the Town of Granby and stole prescribed medication, awakening the sleeping homeowners.

Topley is charged with burglary, criminal possession of a controlled substance and petit larceny.

He was arraigned in Granby Town Court and sent to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $3,000 cash or $6,000 bond. He's due back in court September 29.
