An Oswego man is facing several charges after leading police on a chase on Saturday night.
Oswego County Sheriffâ??s Deputies attempted to pull over 43-year-old Neftali Gonzalez at about 9:54 pm on State Route 104 when, instead of pulling over when he saw deputies, he sped up and turned onto an access road. Deputies say he then drove through the backyard of a home and, when he came to a dead end, took off on foot.
Deputies found Gonzalez at his home on East Schuyler Street and arrested him.
He is charged with Drinking Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle; Unsafe Turn/Failure to Signal; Improper Plates; and Unlicensed Operator, along with several charges related to incidents over the past 17 years in various places over Central New York.
