Authorities say a 40-year-old woman has been charged after a video posted on Facebook showed her encouraging a girl to beat another girl.
Oswego Police say they received a report of a fight between young people, which was captured on video with a cellphone and posted to Facebook. Officials say the victim and her mother reported the street-corner beating to police Sunday night.

After investigating, police charged Aimie Loughrey, 40, of Oswego with endangering the welfare of a child (misdemeanor) and harassment (violation). Loughrey was released with an appearance ticket returnable to Oswego City Court on March 28, 2013.
Police say the video shows a girl repeatedly being beaten up by another girl while a woman encourages the fight and taunts the victim. Officials aren't saying whether either girl is related to Loughrey.
From the video, police say they were able to find the young person who was the aggressor in the fight. That person is not being identified because of their age - but if the person was charged as an adult the charge would amount to assault in the third degree (A Misdemeanor).
