Parkview students deliver food to families in need

Students at Parkview Junior Academy in Syracuse, delivered boxes of food to close to 50 families Monday morning. Parkview's students raised all the money themselves to pay for the food.

Parkview 9th grader Eden Strachan says the turkey drive called "Make an Impact" helps teach students at the school the importance of giving back to those in need.

"Some people are less fortunate than myself or other people in my school so we really need to be God's hands and feet and reach out to them and anybody we can," she says.

Parkview students raised more than $5,000 dollars to purchase the Thanksgiving meals.
