Starbucks in Los Angeles is closed.

On Monday, the store's owner revealed himself as Comedy Central host, Nathan Fielder. He explained the store was a parody shop for his show.

Soon after, the Los Angeles County Health Department closed the place down because it was operating without a valid public health permit.

The pop-up coffee shop took social media by storm as thousands of Californians tweeted about their fascination with the "dumb" business, including some who waited in line for hours just to get a peek.
