Parody pop-up coffee shop Dumb Starbucks closes after store owner is revealed

Starbucks in Los Angeles is closed.

On Monday, the store's owner revealed himself as Comedy Central host, Nathan Fielder. He explained the store was a parody shop for his show.

Soon after, the Los Angeles County Health Department closed the place down because it was operating without a valid public health permit.

The pop-up coffee shop took social media by storm as thousands of Californians tweeted about their fascination with the "dumb" business, including some who waited in line for hours just to get a peek.
