Phoenix Central School District issued lockout after suspicious phone call
Wed, 11 Sep 2013 17:47:18 GMT — The Phoenix Central School District was placed under a lockout while they evaluated a suspicious phone call.Superintendent Judy Belfield says the district received information around 12:00 p.m. from law enforcement about a concerned in the surrounding area. The district issued a lockout for the three buildings as a precaution.Belfield says a lockout is issued for low level threats. During a lockout, students are kept inside the building and no one is allowed to enter.She says that for high threat levels and immediate danger, a lockdown would be issued.
