Phoenix man sentenced for killing his sister-in-law

A Phoenix man who killed his sister-in-law last year and dumped her body in a ravine in Lafayette has been sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.

Larry Frank, 50, was sentenced in a Syracuse court Friday, three weeks after he pleaded guilty to a second-degree murder charge for killing Patricia Gryczka.

Prosecutors say Frank killed his 53-year-old sister-in-law at her home in suburban Geddes last November and dumped her body in a ravine in LaFayette, just south of Syracuse.

Authorities say Frank strangled her as they argued over money.

He was later arrested in Lawrence Township, Pa.
