Photos of truck involved in fatal hit and run released; police asking for public's help
SYRACUSE, N.Y. —
Syracuse Police are asking for the public's help to identify a vehicle involved in a deadly hit and run involving a pedestrian in December.
Police say Darron Lundy was walking in the 1800 block of Erie Boulevard East, between Columbus Avenue and Westcott Street, just after midnight on December 23 when he was hit by a truck.
Investigators have released photos of the truck and hope someone will recognize it. Police describe the truck as a dark colored extended cab Chevrolet 2500 with a Yellow plow blade, shiny rims and a toneau cover or hard top on the bed. The truck was last seen driving on Erie Boulevard East towards Midler Avenue.
