Pickup truck driver flashes two girls in Mattydale, deputies say

The Onondaga County Sheriff's Department is looking into a report of a flashing involving two teenage girls.

The incident happened Thursday, May 24th, along the 400 block of Beley Avenue in Mattydale, according to deputies.

A man flashed the girls as he drove by in his pickup truck, according to deputies.

The incident was posted on the North Syracuse Central School District website.

The incident did not happen on school property or at a bus stop, according to Larry Butler, head of security at the school district. He says the district posted the alert to get the information out to the community.

Right now it's unknown if the two girls are students in the North Syracuse Central School District, according to Butler and deputies.

The man driving the truck is described as white, 30-to-40 years old, with a skinny build, short black hair, no facial hair, and has an earring in his left ear.

The pickup truck is silver or gray, rusty, and has an open bed.
