Police arrest three teens for stealing a man's bike on Butternut Street

A 25-year-old victim had his bike stolen by three teens on Wednesday, according to Syracuse Police.

The robbery happened at about 2:50pm on the 600 block of Butternut Street. The victim told police that he was riding his bike when the three teens forcibly took it and ran. The victim followed the suspects, who were heading south on South Townsend Street.

Responding Officers found the suspects on the 300 block of Hickory Street and took them into custody after a short foot chase. Officers found the stolen bicycle, which they say the three teens hid when they saw the police.

Ronnie Hordge and Deion Bradley, both 16, and 17-year-old Jakelle Davis were arrested and charged with felony robbery. Davis was also charged with false personation, for giving police a fake name.

The victim was not hurt during the incident.
